Johnny has come back to GEGR to be re-homed.  He is doing great in his foster home getting a refresher course on leash manners.  He had so much fun at our reunion picnic and was a perfect gentleman hanging out with all the other dogs.

I'm told it's adoption day tomorrow! My FM is getting her snuggles in while she can, she said a boy like me is going to be snapped up fast. I'm happy to oblige with the snuggling! Will I be snuggling with someone different tomorrow?

Snow days

Snow days: in my opinion they are good and bad.

Bad: Foster mom decided that her balaclava was dog-appropriate attire for going outdoors today. I've never been so ashamed in my life, I could barely even look at the camera...I tried to console myself by frolicking in  the snow on our walk.

Bad: jammies with hearts. Really they are my foster sister's but she let me borrow them.

Good: I can carry this look with ease and style.

Heeeeere's Johnny!

Hi everyone!

It's me, Johnny, or as my FM likes to call me, "John-boy"!

I've had a few days to settle in and I'm really getting this retirement business down. Being a chilled-out kinda dude I discovered dog beds almost as soon as I moved in and that is where I like to hang out most - here's me and my little foster sis Kensy, I'm the handsome boy on the left (yes, on the tiny bed) :

I've learnt a lot so far and my foster parents say I'm picking everything up quickly. I know to do all my business outside, I know paws don't belong on counters, I walk very nicely on leash, I go into my crate when I'm told and I'm doing very well being alone when the humans are at work although I love it when they come home - I wag my tail and smile at them just to make sure they know it! Stairs are a tricky one but I'm getting better at it every day - who knew such things existed?! Did I mention I just love cuddles and pettings? Did I mention I sleep through the night without a peep (as long as I have my snazzy jammies on of course)?

Anyways, I need to sign off now and go dream about my furever family some more...hope to meet you soon!
